Ed Christofano Hayden's Pharmacy praises Emporos pharmacy POSI wanted to personally take the time and opportunity to commend Emporos Systems' employees and technology for their outstanding performance over the last six years with our company Hayden’s Pharmacy in Pennsylvania. 

Generally speaking of the technology -
The pharmacy industry has changed dramatically over the last 20 year from the time I first started.  Through the years, independent pharmacy owners and operators have had to modify the overall pharmacy operations to be in complete compliance with the new industry standards and regulations.  Since our start with Emporos in 2005, we have walked this road together and adapted to the numerous regulations changes and industry requirements.  The ability to verify prescription signatures, the ability to communicate with our pharmacy operation system (Rx30/Transaction Data Systems), and the ease of sale product entry into the POS system are just some of the examples that has made Emporos a superb POS system and a leader in the industry.  In our business it is essential to determine the sale transaction for a prescription item and be able to retrieve this information quickly and accurately.  This impressive working platform completes the overall system and processes that we are faced with in the pharmacy world.

Emporos Systems support and staff -
The staff at Emporos has the knowledge and the resources to assist with having full communication between all pharmacy software interfaces.  When assistance is needed, the Emporos trainers and computer programmers have always been prompt and reactive to the urgency of our needs in the field.  This is critical in resolving issues – there are no second chances.  As I instill to all my employees, our customer services in the pharmacy industry has to be “A-1 World Class Service.”  Listen to the consumer and delivering on the request is essential for survival.  I am pleased to say that the entire staff at the Emporos Systems Corporation has done this from the technical support to system trainers, from sales department to billing department -- exceptional service by your exceptional staff.

Since I have personally interacted with most the staff at Emporos by first name, I did want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support over the years.  I am also very pleased to announce with your company the new Hayden’s Pharmacy location in Greensburg, Pennsylvania...  We look forward to our continued relationship and future computer enhancements to come as we continue to grow our companies in this challenging market arena.

When Chris's family purchased Cypress Pharmacy in 2008, they knew that they would have to bring the nearly 25 year old pharmacy into the 21st century. The Fort Myers, Florida-based independent pharmacy was still using a standard cash register and separate credit card terminals while relying on inefficient and space consuming paper pseudoephedrine and HIPAA records. As a result, the pharmacy was not realizing the many benefits of using a point of sale system. It became apparent that a POS would be necessary to improve efficiency, track sales, computerize the existing paper records, and create an improved checkout experience for their valued customers

When the need to become IIAS compliant mandated the purchase of a POS, Cypress Pharmacy chose the Emporos POS because of its two way integration with their Rx30 PMS. Yet, the benefits of the Emporos POS went well beyond the ability to communicate with their existing system. The POS has improved employee accountability, made sales reporting simple, and has enhanced record keeping, just to name a few. The Emporos staff has also been quick to address any issues or concerns that the pharmacy personnel may have while the various webinars have helped the staff learn the intricacies of the system. Emporos was eager to assist the pharmacy with the system well beyond the initial installation.
