Credit Card Waiting Approval is another MerchantSoft tool to improve your retail customer's experience. This optional feature allows merchants to set up a pre-defined authorization limit for card transactions in the event internet approvals are not available. The pre-defined limit will put these transactions in a queue to be processed as soon as the web is available and the payment gateway may be contacted for an approval. Meanwhile, the retail customer doesn't have to wait for the web to come back up and is able to complete his or her purchase.
The End of Month process is crucial to ensuring customer Accounts Receivable balances are updated appropriately, and more importantly, stated correctly on the customer statement. Integral to the process are the Aged Trial Balance report, Finance Charges Report, and Miscellaneous Adjustments Report. We will discuss how to use these reports and POS View History to reconcile AR.
