Emporos Systems retains well known pharmacy industry consultant Bruce Kneeland to assist with industry relations, marketing, and strategic planning.
Bruce Kneeland Services brings over thirty-five years of pharmacy industry experience to Emporos Systems
(Charlotte, NC) April 16, 2009— Emporos Systems Corporation, the leading provider of retail pharmacy point of sale software today announced that they have just entered into a consulting relationship with Bruce Kneeland, a well known pharmacy industry expert. Kneeland will be working on industry relations and assisting with marketing and strategic planning to help Emporos Systems accelerate its expansion into community pharmacy and to help arrange new relationships with a number of additional pharmacy technology companies. Kneeland says, “One of the exciting things about working with Emporos Systems is that their POS software integrates with both pharmacy management and IVR systems; thus making it possible for pharmacists to manage both their front-end and pharmacy operations more effectively while at the same time dramatically improving the customer shopping experience.”

Bruce Kneeland started his Valley Forge, PA-based consulting practice in 2002. Kneeland’s past positions include Vice President Retail Sales and Marketing with AmerisourceBergen, Vice President Marketing and Communications for The Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA), and VP Franchise Sales and Operations for Health Mart. Kneeland is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a B.A. in Communications and is a frequent contributor to trade journals such as Healthcare Distributor, Drug Topics, Computer Talk, and America’s Pharmacist. His efforts on behalf of pharmacies were recognized in 2003 with the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association’s Pharmaceutical Industry Person of the Year Award.
