Client Sales Executive

The Client Sales Executive is responsible for developing new leads/opportunities for established clients, pipeline growth & management, exceeding sales goals and facilitating clients’ needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Researching and qualifying new leads
  • Upselling products and services
  • Develop, drive, and monitor sales opportunities
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline of accounts
  • Act as the liaison between our targeted accounts and our Emporos functional teams
  • Work closely with our functional team representatives to ensure new implementations and deadlines are met and develop a highly satisfied client experience that can lead to expanded business opportunities
  • Act as the industry expert on Emporos solutions and the market industry to add value when having customer engagements
  • Learn and use effectively the Emporos Sales Process
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Emporos Pharmacy Sales Solution
  • Develop and maintain Sales Business Plans that include strategies on driving sales with high win rates and reducing sales cycles
  • Track all activity in the CRM according to department guidelines
  • Effectively follow the outlined Sales Process by building & presenting a business case per new opportunity
  • Exceeding Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Sales Objectives


  • Proven work experience in account development
  • Proven ability to effectively manage existing account relationships
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly Salesforce & MS Office)
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with clients including at the executive level
  • Strong ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Demonstrated successful experience in working with decision-makers
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with healthcare software sales a plus


This role will work closely with key departmental and project stakeholders across the organization. Therefore, the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organization is a key priority in this role. No supervisory responsibilities are required for this position.
