CHARLOTTE, NC - North Carolina-based software developer Emporos Systems Corporation has announced the hiring of a host of new personnel to commemorate its 14th anniversary headed by the appointment of Frank Piet as its new President/COO. Piet served as COO for nearly two years prior to this recent promotion.
Company founder Greg Phillips will continue on as the company’s CEO and Chairman. Robert Antista, who has served as CFO for the past two years, will now assume additional responsibilities as CFO/Treasurer for Emporos.
In addition to these title changes, Emporos has greatly enhanced its supporting departments through the hiring of new personnel to manage the company’s unprecedented growth in the hospital outpatient pharmacy, point of sale arena.
Mark Howder, formerly with the McKesson Corporation, assumed the Customer Care Department Manager’s position and promptly bolstered his department with the hiring of three more Customer Care representatives. They are Eddie Milligan III, Robbie Abbe and David Blair. It brings to a half dozen the additions the company has made in the last year to this department to support its ever-growing and most critical customer support phase.
Beau Dobbs has been hired to head up the Product Development Department. Emporos welcomes Deepti Bista as a new Q&A Analyst and Tonja Blackwell as the company’s first DBA Contractor.
The Emporos Implementation and Training team welcome trainer, Jim Fitzpatrick and implementation specialist Ed Lawson.
