We want your Emporos POS installation to be a success. In conjunction with your project team, the Emporos Implementation Specialist team creates a training plan to best meet your needs. This plan provides training for all stakeholders. It begins with Administrators and Level 1 Support personnel, performing the User Acceptance Testing, and training Pharmacy and other Users. The teams decide whether to schedule on-site or remote delivery, and whether Emporos trainers will conduct all the classes, or employ a train-the-trainer approach.
To build confidence, and relieve stress during your Go Live, Emporos sends a Go-Live team to provide elbow-to-elbow support as you settle into new workflows.
After becoming more familiar with the routine tasks of your new POS, you can extend your knowledge with refresher training, supplemental reporting features, or the use of additional modules.
Administrators Course: For Emporos administrators, pharmacy stakeholders, and Emporos support personnel. The course includes setting Group Permissions, User Maintenance, and review of common configuration settings
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): An Emporos trainer guides the testing resources through a variety of scenarios to validate common pharmacy and retail workflows. Once testing completes, it’s time for Pharmacy User training.
Pharmacy Users: Following the training plan, Emporos trainers complete train-the-trainer or end-user training focusing on typical pharmacy and retail workflows.
Other Stakeholders: Additional Emporos module training provides an in-depth look at reporting for cash management or finance departments, Accounts Receivable, and Over the Counter item management. Depending on your installation, we include additional feature training.
Emporos Support: Aimed at those who support the Emporos installation, training focuses on common hardware and software issues, troubleshooting connectivity issues, employee maintenance, and permissions.
